SpiderCool solved a huge problem for us! .

"The magnitude of the problem is proportionate to the size of the machine, and with
travels of X=118 , Y=78 , Z=63 our new Doosan Horizontal is a big machine, which
before SpiderCool, also had a big flood coolant problem. Try walking inside this
machine, on chips and oil, to manually adjust coolant loc-lines when the spindle is 6 in
the air. It s next to impossible, time consuming and downright dangerous. To make
matters worse this is a quill type horizontal machining center, which requires constantly
readjusting the coolant loc-lines as the quill is extended. I really like the AutoDrill cycle
for quill extension jobs because it enables me to oscillate the flood coolant stream any
predetermined distance. Now I can easily set specific coolant positions for all 60 tools,
which vary in length from 2 to 15 . Once set SpiderCool will automatically aim the
flood coolant, no programming is required.
